Rev. Richard Pomeroy, founder and manager of "The Stillwater Retreat". Richard Pomeroy began learning guitar in the third grade. He now plays a dreadnaught guitar, 12-string guitar and a lute. Terry Pomeroy, Lead vocalist for "The Stillwater Retreat"; Terry Pomeroy, one of the original founding members of The Stillwater Retreat. Terry joined the group after Richard, Marvin, Carol and Gerry were on summer vacation from the Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship Gospel team, in Ellensburg Washington. The five of them became a new folk singing group, which Terry dubbed "The Stillwater Retreat", from Psalm 23:2.
